Dear John
Sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad and our shipmate, Edwin A. Visser. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family.
In checking the ships rosters I found your Dad listed as a Corpsman 2nd class (PHM2), He came aboard our ship on November 15,1945 and the last roster he was listed on was the August 1, 1946 roster.

I have added your Dad’s name to our on site “In Memoriam” list and he will be remembered in our Memorial Service at our 2010 reunion in Wisconsin. Our members will be notified of his passing in our on line Newsletter this Friday, October 31st.
